How to Change from NG to Propane

Switching your appliance from NG (Natural Gas) to propane or vice versa is not something that a non-licensed professional should attempt. Failure to execute the change properly can lead to a fire and or explosion and cause serious property damage, bodily injury and even death.  It is even against the law in some jurisdictions to attempt such a repair without a license.

You local Gas or Propane provider will usually provide a free or low cost service to make this conversion for you.  They can properly adjust the burners so that they burn efficiently and also verify that your appliance is connected in a safe and code worthy manor.
