GE Dryer (older style)

Use the following steps to  remove the motor on a GE older stlye dryer.

1.Disconnect power.
2 Remove the rear acces panel on the lower back of the dryer.
3. Disconnec the belt
4. Remove the access panel in the middle of the back panel and remove the "E" clip and washers on the drum shaft.
5. From the front, lift the top and remove the front panel.
6. Remove the drum
7. Remove the retaining screw and clip from the blower wheel
8. Remove the motor retaining clips
9. Remove and label wiring
10. Remove motor
11. Install in reverser order.
